Bergerault have been producing Mallet Percussion instruments since 1932, when the family based company started in France. They are the pioneers of such innovations as the first bass (5 octave) Marimba, the 4 octave Vibraphone and the pedal Glockenspiel. All the Bergerault instruments are built on order, so you can choose the tuning and design specifications that you want.
The Bergerault Vibraphones are world-class professional instruments that have a superb sound, and an outstanding overall design. These instruments feature the finest quality aluminium alloy bars, which have a distinctively rich, powerful and highly resonant sound. The Bergerault instruments offer note sustain that is superior to any other vibraphone.
The frames are easily height adjustable, robust, very portable and will not rattle or need to be braced in the future. The vibrato control of the motor is very smooth - Bergerault have achieved excellent engineering in all aspects of the drive system.
All instruments feature the bar style pedal which runs most of the length of the instrument, and are available in gold or silver finish.

The VA (American Vibraphone) is Bergerault’s latest model and is an absolute pleasure to play. It features extra thick bars (15mm) that start at 40mm and graduate to a wide 60mm .. The size of the bars and the excellent quality of the alloy material gives the instrument a very strong, sparkling, full and consistent sound. The low register is particularly outstanding.

VGC Vibraphone Grand Concert
The VGC (Grand Concert Vibraphone) has the same bar specifications as the VA model, but features the Concert style frame with solid laqured wood ends.
VPS Vibraphone Professional
The VPS model is a 3.5 octave (low C to F) instrument with bars of 15mm x 70mm at the bottom. (Please excuse the unusual/incorrect chromatic positioning in this photo). Offers a great sound in the lower register and is very well priced.

VU 11 Vibraphone Universal
The VU Vibraphone is the Universal model of the VA. 40mm x 12mm bars throughout the F-F 3 octave range. Although not a graduated "wide bar" instrument , the sound is still strong and rewarding. The frame is height adjustable, practical and solid. Variable speed motor.
