Blackswamp make three models of orchestral snare drums – the SoundArt, Multisonic and S3.

The SoundArt series drums feature 10-ply Maple, Carbon Fibre, or Dynacast Brass shells. The Maple drums produce a rich, warm and versatile sound, and are the most popular model. The Carbon Fiber shell drums are a little brighter, while still maintaining a full bodied timbre - somewhat between a maple and brass drum. The Dynacast™ Brass shells are cast with an exclusive brass alloy, machined perfectly round, and produce a bright, responsive sound with maximum projection.

The Multisonic Snare drums are the latest innovation from Black Swamp, and feature a unique snare strainer that allows you to punch in different combinations of four different types of wire and cable snares. A total of 15 different combinations of 3 or 4 snare types means that you can instantly and silently select any combination of snares for all your playing needs. The Mulitsonic drums utilise the same shell construct and design as the SoundArt series.

The S3 drums are custom made to your requirements with a choice of Birdseye Maple, Walnut, or Cherry shells, Multisonic or Precision Glide snares, and any diameter and depth specifications you want.
