The LEFIMA-light Belt Timpani combine excellent tonal quality with extraordinarily low weight and very compact construction for school music as well as for professionals. The low-force active tuning system (Pat. Pend.) works concentrically and sits completely underneath the counterhoop for trouble-free playing. This means no crossing wires and no jutting-out tension posts! The belt tuning mechanism is maintenance-free and allows the use of calfskin heads.
