From the Author: I have been asked on more than one occasion, "When is Book 2 coming out?" Well at last I have finally found the time and head space to sit down and complete what I started a little over ten years ago. With the exception of three pieces all of the works recorder have been performed by various primary students ever since. Pieces such as Two to Tango, Let's Play Calypso, Dragon Fly, East Meets West, Junk Yard Samba and Malaguena have been performed at some point in time during our annual Marimba Mania concerts in Hobart. After making an initial start on the Teaching Notes I put the publications of Book 2 on hold when life and work became more pressing. Now retired from my University lecturing position I have been able to revisit the scores and recordings and complete the teaching notes.
