Allan Watson

After completing his Bachelor of Music Education, Allan Watson became a percussionist and timpanist in the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. He has spent many years teaching students at both at the high school and tertiary levels. Allan also teaches Percussion pedagogy to future music teachers at the University of NSW. With his high school music training and knowledge of percussion instruments, Allan is in a unique position to help you make the most of your percussion program. |

Carolyn Bounds

Flautist Carolyn Bounds has performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, the Hunter Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Australian productions of Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast and Showboat. She is an examiner for the AMEB and the editor of the highly regarded Flute Australasia, the national flute magazine of the Australian and New Zealand Flute Societies. She is currently a part-time lecturer at the Wesley Institute of Ministry and the Arts teaching Flute, Aural and Harmony. |

Richard Gleeson

Richard Graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with High Distinction in Percussion in 1993, and is now a freelance performer. He performs with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Australia Ensemble, and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. Richard has played in Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Porgy and Bess and recently in the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Richard is a founding member of Big Bang theory and the percussion group, Sprung, dedicated to the performance of new music. |

Bree van Reyk

Bree van Reyk had her first professional engagement as a percussionist at age 12, playing a small but vital triangle part in The Barber of Seville, with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. More recently she has been acting as Principal Percussionist with the same orchestra and recently completed her Bachelor of Music, with first class honours in Percussion Performance, from the Canberra School of Music. During the course of her degree, she was awarded the H.C Coombs Honours Scholarship from the Australian National University, and was selected as percussionist with many programs and festivals run by the Australian National Academy of Music and the Australian Youth Orchestra. Bree has performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Sinfonia Orchestra and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, as well as performing as a free-lance percussion and drum kit player around Sydney and Canberra. |
