This exciting marimba solo won 2nd place in the 1992 Percussive Arts Society Composition Contest. The mallets chosen for this piece need the capability to speak clearly in all registers and within a wide dynamic range. This piece requires a 4.3 octave marimba and is approximately 9-10 minutes long.
