Ron Vaughn Professional Slap Stick: each

The Ron Vaughn ST-900 SlapStick has been and remains one of the most popular and effective slapsticks in modern percussion over the past 50 years. Used and relied upon by ensembles and performers throughout the world, the ST-900 speaks with great clarity at all volume levels. It speaks with a quiet and crystal clear pop-pop-pop, for softer parts (Bartok), and delivers a thunderous, robust 'crack' when parts call for accents of ff and ffff.

Made from Russian Birch, with hand lapped matched faces, the instrument includes a tension bungee that fits into prepared smooth notches to keep the instrument's faces matched and parallel when the instrument is being stored.
