Black Swamp Tamb Chrom 10 Dbl w/Synth H: each

Black Swamp Tamb Chrom 10 Dbl w/Synth H: each

The SoundArt Series tambourines reinvented and revived the true orchestral tambourine sound by returning to the superior tone that is produced only with a steam-bent, single ply shell. Black Swamp's shell is complemented by jingles made from tonally rich metal alloys and quality calfskin (or synthetic material) to create the de facto standard of tambourines throughout the world.

Jingles:
Black Swamp jingles are hand hammered in such a way to produce a full sonority while balancing characteristics such as attack, tessitura, sustain, projection, and tone. Chromium 25 is very bright, cutting, articulate, and crunchy. As the tambourine is "played in," it will be an extremely articulate sound that is surprisingly full bodied.

Head:
Black Swamp synthetic heads are custom designed Remo Rennaisance heads that offer more resistance to pitch changes while still producing a professional sound. Unlike traditional calf skin, these heads will not be affected by climate, humidity, or altitude.

Shell:
The core of a SoundArt tambourine is a steam bent, solid ash shell, for a full and commanding voice that showcases the shell's natural beauty. The ergonomic handle design provides a comfortable grip on the instrument, and the dual sized jingle slots allow more seamless shake rolls. Parallel jingle slots are two different depths. This allows the jingle sets to contact the shell at different times, creating a fuller, more robust sound.
