Cello Suite No 1 in Major: each Composer: Bach J.S. Arranger: Gaetano Mario
A fresh arrangement of a great classic by veteran composer/arranger Mario Gaetano. Playable on a 4-octave marimba, but it a larger instrument is available (4 1/2), the piece may be played an octave lower! Five of the six movements employ 4-mallets, while the Gigue is written for two mallets. Informative performance notes will aid the less experienced performer with the interpretation of trills. While specific stickings ar provided throughout, the composer encourages the performer to find stickings that best suit their personal technique.
