Dragonfly aluminum triangle beaters produce a very warm and overtone-rich sound. The aluminum tubes, which are softer than brass or steel, result in an attack with very little “tick” compared to conventional beaters. They are particularly well suited for single notes and rolls. Try the smallest model for the soft triangle in William Tell or the cadenza roll in Capriccio Espagnol, the medium stick for mvt. IV of Mahler 4 and the large stick for full-bodied notes on your largest triangles. The beaters are constructed with aluminum tubes over brass cores, moveable steel counter-weights, stainless steel handles and silicone tubing.
