This curriculum includes a series of structured activities to help the students learn the chords in a logical, step by step manner. The challenge for the students isn’t really playing the chords… its being able to change chords quickly enough. For that reason the tracks we have put together are structured around gradually building up the skill of moving from one chord, to two and then three, and increasing the speed of change slowly and carefully.
What we include:
14 Ukulele Jam Tracks recorded at normal speed, and then slower for practice.
Printslides showing all the chord positions, plus scores for all the tracks. You can print these out, laminate them and and use to hold up infront of the class.
Powerpoint or Keynote version of the printslides, so you can project it onto the classroom whiteboard
A printable student booklet that you can use to give the students for practice at home
