Spectrasound 35 Bar Mark Tree Black: each
The Spectrasound Mark Tree is the original bar chime, now brought back to life by Grover Pro. Invented in the 1960s by a prominent LA studio percussionist named Mark Stevens (from whom the instrument gets its name), none of the many imitator models have the beautiful microtonal shimmer of a true Mark Tree.
Every Spectrasound Mark Tree features a solid hardwood header bar (mantle) with each individual bar secured to it with a super-strong filament. Every filament is individually hand tied to the mantle in a fashion that allows the resonance to ring true. Each Mark Tree comes pre-drilled to accept the easy motion damper bar (available separately).
