The Young Flute Player Volume 3: each
This volume contains the flute duet parts and piano accompaniments for all the pieces (excluding exercises and studies) in Volumes 1 and 2. Some pieces have a flute duet or a piano part, while other pieces have both a flute duet and piano accompaniment. Where both versions are provided these are intended to be played separately, as they may have different harmonisations of the melody. Some of the early pieces include the flute melody in the accompaniment, to help the student play in tine and in time. Most of the advanced pieces have a more independent accompaniment. The piano accompaniments have been kept very simple, so they will be within the reach of keyboard experience. More advanced pianists are welcome to elaborate on the accompaniments.
